One College. One Program. Two Campuses. Statewide
Sites.
The UT College of Pharmacy is made up of two campuses, one in Memphis and one in Knoxville. Each year the College admits 200 students into the Pharm.D. program. All students spend the first professional year on the Health Science Center Campus in Memphis. After the first year of the curriculum, 75 students will move to the Knoxville
campus with the remaining 125 completing their degree in Memphis.
In the last year and a half of the curriculum, students participate in the Professional Experiential Program, doing one month rotations in various clinical settings. These rotations are located in Memphis and Knoxville and at Clinical Education Centers in Nashville, Jackson, Chattanooga, and the Tri-Cities.
Applicants indicate their choice of campus by completing a Campus Preference
Form at the time of their admissions interview. Campus assignments are based on the date of application and the overall strength of the applicant.
Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis for students with special
circumstances. A student’s campus preference has no bearing on their admission
