The American Association
of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) Student Chapter at the University of
Tennessee Health Science Center along with the AAPS Southern Regional
Discussion Group (SRDG) is hosting the PharmForum 2007 meeting.
PharmForum is a Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Student and Post-Doctoral
Fellows meeting, which was originally hosted in 2002 by the University of
Arkansas for Medical Sciences at Little Rock, AR. We, at the University of
Tennessee, Memphis continued the tradition by hosting PharmForum 2004 with
great success. It is a pleasure to inform that the University of Tennessee
is once again privileged to host PharmForum 2007 on May 30-31, 2007.
Historically, the meeting attracts approximately 100 students, post-doctoral
fellows, and faculty from the south-central regional schools of pharmacy.
This year, we are keen to strengthen the participation of students and
post-doctoral fellows from all south central as well as south-eastern
schools of pharmacy. The meeting intends to provide a forum for graduate
students and post-doctoral fellows to present their research work via poster
and podium presentations in a more intimate setting than is possible at the
national meetings. Besides, the meeting includes interactive lectures on
recent developments in pharmaceutical research and development by the
distinguished speakers from industry and academia.
