The intent of this research is to evaluate pharmacists’ perceptions of several things occurring should they become board certified. They will also be asked to report on these same aspects with regard to how they value them. There has been research completed on the impact and value of board certified professionals in various areas of health care but little research has focused on what pharmacists perceive as the importance and value of such a credential.
This is a research project as a part of a University of Tennessee Health Science Center doctoral dissertation. Your input is valuable to evaluate the survey instrument constructs and applicability for the research. This survey will then be distributed to members of the major pharmacy organizations and the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties.
The link below will take you to the survey. It should take no longer than 15 minutes to take the survey. There are instructions in the header of the survey instrument. There is a section at the end for you to include comments. This section will not be in the final version of the survey.
