The Parenteral Medications Laboratories (PML) offers various hands-on training programs and has manufacturing capabilities for sterile products.
The PML contains a core processing facility designed for the preparation of sterile dosage forms and instructional training in aseptic processing, sterilization principles and production processes.
Under the direction of the faculty and staff of the College of Pharmacy, the facility and its associated laboratories are utilized for formulation development, manufacturer of products for clinical investigation and other applied research in parenteral technology such as stability sutdies and development of lyophilization cycles. The PML also has experience in the aseptic processing radiolabeled products for clinical investigations.
