How to Set An Alarm

Before reading this tutorial, you should already know how to use your calendar.
| What alarm sound
options do you have?
Go to DateBook and tap "Menu" from the silkscreen Now select "Options" and then "Preferences."

| Tap on the down arrowhead to see a listing of the alarm sounds that came with your Palm OS. Choose one and it will automatically play its sound for you. |

| Set an Alarm for an
Appointment
Go to your datebook/calendar and select the appointment. Then tap on the "Details" button at the bottom of your PDA screen. |

| Now check (by tapping on) the "Alarm" box. |

| Enter number of time units before event to alarm; down arrowhead to select choice of minutes, hours, or days. If you want the alarm to be repeated (e.g., "snooze alarm") Now tap the "OK" button. |

| You should now see a timer next to your appointment. Your appointment is alarmed to go off 15 minutes before your meeting. |
