Graffiti Self-Assessment Activity
You are entering in some information in your notepad application using Graffiti and you forgot the graffiti stroke to make the percentage "%" symbol.
How do you program your PDA
to call up the graffiti help menu in a single stroke of the stylus?
| Go to the preferences screen (Forgot how? Go here) and select the "Pen" button (bottom of screen, middle button) |
|
| From the drop down menu (down arrow head), Tap "Graffiti Help" and then "OK" |
|
| Let's try it out. Start anywhere in the silkscreen area and stroke upwards (it takes a little finesse: not too slow and not too fast but it's easy to do after a couple practices) with the stylus well into the screen area as shown in the figure. |
|
| You should now see a pop-up screen for
Graffiti help. Use the scroll buttons (see arrow) to find the right
section you need. There's the punctuation we wanted. Tap once on the
alphanumeric silkscreen and then write that cryptic symbol.
Tap "Done" when finished and you are back in the original program/document you were working in! I bet you thought it wouldn't be this easy did you? |
