Bioanalytical Chemistry

Bioanalytical chemistry works at the interface of analytical chemistry and biology. Current areas of research include proteomics and studies on drug metabolism.

Dr. Sarka Beranova-Giorgianni's laboratory focuses on proteomics with state-of-the-art LC/MS technologies, and she is also a member of pharmaceutics division. Dr. Wei Li's laboratory focuses on using NMR and other analytical methods to attack biological relevant problems. Dr. Wei Li also maintains collaborative efforts in medicinal chemistry division.
