Graduate Programs

We are very pleased that you are considering graduate studies in the pharmaceutical sciences and honored that you are thinking about pursuing those studies at The University of Tennessee. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences is composed of three divisions, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Health Science Administration.
 

Almost any avenue of study and research is available to you in these disciplines. In the Department, we have a very diverse faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and public service. Our College of Pharmacy has consistently been ranked among the top schools in the nation.

As a graduate of our program, you have the ability to enter many different arenas: academia, industrial research, government service, and management, to name only a few. We believe our graduates are eminently qualified for whatever position they choose. I am pleased to provide this information about our program.
